DZL Records introduces “Blazing,” the new co-primary single from Dale Virgo and Blaze Mob, bringing Virgo’s innovative Ragga Rave concept to life. Distributed by Tuff Gong International, the track explores what happens when Jamaican-rooted vocal culture meets the energy of Afro House, Dancehall House and rave music.
Born from Dale Virgo’s experience living in Los Angeles, Ragga Rave is more than a sound—it’s a musical experiment designed to bring different cultures, rhythms and dance movements together.
Joining Virgo on “Blazing” is Blaze Mob, a group with deep roots in Jamaican reggae. Brothers Shaka “Rock” Dennis, Gyasi “Gong” Dennis and “King” Saeed Dennis grew up in Kingston, Jamaica, and are the sons of reggae veteran Garth Dennis, whose career includes membership in the legendary Wailing Souls and Black Uhuru. The brothers later established their own presence within Southern California’s reggae community.
On “Blazing,” Virgo creates a warm, hypnotic dance track while Blaze Mob delivers the roots-reggae influence and family legacy that give the record its Jamaican foundation. The infectious “We blazing” hook provides a simple, communal energy designed for dance floors, DJ sets, radio mixes and visual content.
With “Blazing,” Dale Virgo and Blaze Mob open the door to a broader conversation about Ragga Rave—its Los Angeles influence, Jamaican roots and the creative possibilities that emerge when reggae culture collides with contemporary electronic dance music.
This is more than a collaboration. It’s a musical experiment—and the fire is already burning.
