Sir Rockwell is a veteran South Florida radio personality, DJ, event MC, and entertainment planner with more than 27 years of on-air experience and an international following. Known for his dynamic style and unmistakable voice, he has earned a unique place in broadcasting history as the only radio personality to appear on all five Caribbean-formatted stations in South Florida.
From early beginnings on community radio in Broward County to becoming an award-winning on-air host at WAVS 1170 AM, Sir Rockwell has consistently elevated Caribbean radio in the region. He later served as Program Director and morning show host for Jammin 1420 AM—the Palm Beaches’ first 24-hour Caribbean radio station—further solidifying his reputation as a trusted leader in the industry.
Today, Sir Rockwell is the founder and owner of RockDaBox.net, one of the most recognized online Caribbean stations worldwide. His signature program, the “Wake Up and Live” Morning Show, has become the most syndicated Caribbean online morning show in the world, broadcast across 40+ affiliate stations on three continents. Featuring an impressive lineup of celebrity guests—including The Voice Season 5 winner Tessanne Chin, Miss Jamaica World Laurie-Ann Chin, the cast of Celebrity Mamas of ATL, members of the Marley family, and actor Paul Campbell—the show reaches more than 200,000 global listeners.
