Maroon 5 Manager, Dead at 40…

Jordan Feldstein, Brother of Jonah Hill and Longtime

Maroon 5 Manager, Dead at 40

Jordan Feldstein, manager of the band Maroon 5 and brother of actor Jonah Hill, has died at the age of 40. The cause of Feldstein’s death was a heart attack, according to his family.

“Unfortunately, last night Jordan called 911 for shortness of breath, when paramedics arrived it was determined he went into full cardiac arrest and passed away shortly thereafter,” the Feldstein family wrote in a statement. “His family asks for privacy during this difficult and unexpected time. In lieu of food and flowers, the family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan’s name.”

Feldstein got his start working for the talent and literary agency ICM and Bill Leopold Management. His childhood friendship with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine led to him managing the band when he was just 21 years old. Feldstein spoke about landing the job of Maroon 5’s manager in a 2015 interview with Billboard. “They were rightfully scared of having a 21-year-old just out of college as their manager but I kept setting things up, taking care of them, taking them to meals — which, at that point, going to Houston’s was a big deal,” he said. “Eventually I convinced them.”

In 2005, Feldstein founded Career Artist Management, which features a roster of Maroon 5, Robin ThickeIggy Azalea, and Miguel. Feldstein also played an instrumental role in helping Levine land his gig on NBC’s The Voice.

He is a father to two children. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jordan Feldstein’s family and friends.
